cPlay

Tesla browser dashboard

Your iPhone. Your Tesla screen. Your dashboard.

cPlay is not CarPlay. It is a configurable, driver-friendly dashboard you control from your iPhone — widgets, media, navigation shortcuts, weather, and more, served straight to your Tesla browser over your Personal Hotspot.

App Store product page publishes with launch. Badge links to the Cody1 developer listing until then.

Why cPlay

CarPlay-style utility without the dongle.

Tesla’s built-in browser is capable, but it is not a dashboard. cPlay turns your iPhone into the brain and your Tesla screen into a live, touch-friendly control surface for the things you actually use on the road.

Your layout, your sizes

Start from Commute, Road Trip, or Minimal presets — then add, remove, and reorder widgets. Pick each tile’s size (small, wide, large) so you can run a full-width Waze map, or strip back to just clock, weather, and calendar.

Designed for the road

Large touch targets, dark UI, and layouts tuned for Tesla browser use. Customise colours, gradients, accents, and tile opacity from your iPhone.

Actions stay on iPhone

Tap a contact to call, launch navigation in Waze or Maps, control Apple Music, run HomeKit scenes, or open web apps — cPlay routes actions back to your phone.

Setup

Connect once. Drive with it every day.

Pair Bluetooth for audio, enable Personal Hotspot, connect your Tesla to the hotspot, start the dashboard in cPlay, then open the local address in the Tesla browser. Shortcuts and Drive Mode automation can handle most of the repeat work.

StartTap Start Dashboard in cPlay to launch the local HTTP and WebSocket server.
OpenEnter the displayed address in the Tesla browser and bookmark it for next time.
CustomiseArrange widgets, themes, and shortcuts on iPhone; changes appear live on Tesla.
AutomateUse Shortcuts actions and Drive Mode setup to start hotspot and dashboard when you get in.

Widgets

Everything you want on one screen.

Mix and match the widgets that matter to you. cPlay ships with a broad set out of the box and keeps the layout flexible as your routine changes.

Some integrations depend on iOS permissions and third-party apps. Media controls work most reliably with Apple Music; navigation actions open on your iPhone for turn-by-turn routing.

Pricing

Planned pricing at launch.

Final App Store pricing may change before release. This is our current working model for a focused utility app with no ads and no account required.
